Summary: WoW-Tracker is designed with a privacy-first approach. We do not require an account, we do not ask for your email or password, and we do not sell or monetize your personal information. Your game characters and tasks remain on your device and inside your own personal cloud storage (Apple iCloud or Google Drive).

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Store in the App:

None. We don't collect any information from you

B. Information Collected Automatically:

We do not operate backend servers that track or log your identity. However, the app integrates third-party services to function:

Google AdMob: If you use the free version of the app, Google AdMob displays non-intrusive advertisements. AdMob may collect anonymous device identifiers, advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android), coarse diagnostic data, and interaction metrics to serve ads and prevent fraud. In-App Purchases: When you purchase the Remove Ads In App Purchase, the transaction is done directly through Apple (iOS) and Google (Android). We collect no data about the transaction. All data related to the transaction is stored in your Apple or Google account.

2. Data Storage and Cloud Synchronization

WoW-Tracker offers optional automated and manual backups:

Apple iCloud (iOS): If enabled, backup copies of your database are stored in your iCloud account. Neither WoW-Tracker developers nor any third party has access to your private iCloud data.
Google Drive & Android Auto Backup (Android): Backup copies of your databse are stored in your Google Drive
JSON Import/Export: The app allows you to export portable, human-readable JSON files to transfer your data between devices. You retain full control over where those files are stored and shared.

3. Third-Party Services and Analytics

The app uses the following third-party services:

We do not use any third-party behavioral tracking or profiling services.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Because WoW-Tracker does not require an account or store your data on external company servers, you have complete ownership over your data:

You can reset or wipe all character and task data at any time inside the app via Settings → Reset All Data.
Uninstalling the application from your device permanently removes all locally stored app data.
Cloud backups stored in Apple iCloud or Google Drive can be deleted directly through your device's native iCloud storage management or Google Drive settings.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the application after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
